2001 Ocean Alexander 540 Pilothouse

The Ocean Alexander 540 Pilothouse is a longer 520 Pilothouse with a Euro Transom. Pilothouse models offer a low-level aft cockpit which allows easy access to the water through the wide transom door. The large flybridge can be reached either from the aft deck or from inside the pilothouse. There is ample space for dinghy stowage, which can be handled by crane. The standard interior layouts place the saloon and galley at the same level as the aft deck. Seating, tables and cabinetry for this area can be supplied to owner's requirements. The raised pilothouse is the command center of the yacht. With superb forward visibility, the captain can really feel in control of the ship. There is an angled console which can house enough electronics to satisfy a jet pilot. Cabin facilities are reached down a curving companionway. They comprise two staterooms , and a master stateroom forward, with its own en suite head and stall shower.

Lazarette hatch leads into large storage area with access to the steering gear.  Going forward from the Lazarette accesses the Engine room.  Windlass, Danforth & Fortress anchors, Halon fire system, fresh & saltwater washdown bow & stern.
